Agent Colt Shore Domino 29 - Axel Avian For more of my reviews, check out Books For YA!Agent Colt Shore: Domino 29 is a fast-paced spy novel that will take you on a globetrotting, action-filled mission across the world. Alex Rider better watch out because there’s a new spy kid in town.Colt Shore is not your typical 15 year old boy. He knows how to play drums, he goes to a secret-agent training school, knows 3 different language, have a third-degree black belt and he just recently found out that he’s the son of two of the top agents of FALCON. So when an opportunity to be an active agent arises, he immediately accepted it, wanting to prove himself worthy of the job.Going to his first mission, he has to go undercover as a roadie for Thorne and Talya Ellis, two popular teen musicians of the band called Shadow, and should always keep an eye on them while in their USO tour in Afghanistan. But sometimes, the assignments you’re given is seldom the assignments you end up on and Colt will soon find this out for himself.Colt was a really funny kid but he was a bit insecure and lacking self-confidence in the beginning. He redeemed himself, soon enough, as his mission went on. He was really great at adapting to the situation, he’s a fast-thinker and a really fast-learner. He showed a lot of remarkable traits that is admirable. I think he can make it as a top agent and maybe even better than his father and mother. My favorite parts in the story were the car chase (which is really intense and fun) and the hang gliding part (which, I reckon, is breathtaking). I definitely envy Colt’s profession. I wish I could be as adventurous and as fearless as him.To sum it up, Domino 29 is one heck of a roller-coaster adventure ride you wouldn’t want to miss. I recommend it to all the thriller-seekers and adventure-lovers out there.
